Exploring St Bernadette’s Story

This beautiful animated film was created by the pilgrimage charity HCPT, it tells the story of St Bernadette and the Apparitions in Lourdes.

Primary School Liturgy from our partners at The Mark 10 Mission

This liturgy explores the Gospel story of the wedding at Cana. Greg from The Mark 10 Mission reflects upon the importance of Our Lady, exploring how St Bernadette helps to reveal the beauty of Our Lady to each of us. To conclude the liturgy, Fr Columba CFR sings Ave Maria.

Our Pilgrimage with St Bernadette

Key Scripture: Mark 10: 17-27

The following resource is part of the Ten Ten Year of Pilgrimage but is accessible for all schools to use as part of their celebrations for the St Bernadette Relic Tour during September and October 2022.

The resource includes on-screen Pilgrimage Guides introducing Lourdes, a place of healing and special devotion to Our Lady. Children will be inspired by the story of St Bernadette’s faith and openness, and learn that for God, nothing is impossible. Click here to access the resource.

Schools who have Ten Ten Resources Collective Worship subscription can access an extended version of the assembly on Wednesday 28 September – with the intention of it being used as your normal Ten Ten Year of Pilgrimage assembly the week commencing 2nd October.

Reflection Packs Keys stage 2-4

The Reflection Packs below have been created to allow children and young to reflect on the story of St Bernadette, exploring what took place in a personal way. These resources are suitable for use at school, home or in a parish setting. They work best as an individual activity but could also be used with a group.

The Information Packs provides an opportunity for further learning, delving into the powerful messages that surround the life of St Bernadette, Lourdes, and the Relic Tour, these resources could be used to populate a display board or as a stimulus for a larger activity.
